On Thursday, Aaron said, "Wouldn't it be cool if we knew what we were having like Steph and Mike did last year when we went to the beach? Then we could go get little outfits at the outlets like they did!" Of course that just sparked the already longing to make an early ultrasound appointment, so right away I called a place in Portland that let's you take a "sneek peek" before the traditional 20-week scan. Of course, she appologizes and says those appointments are at a minimum a week out, but she would call if an opening in the morning came up. The only time we would be able to do it before heading out to the beach was early Friday morning. At 5:30 pm I got a call and amazingly she was able to squeeze us in. As soon as we saw the little one on the screen, I think Aaron and I both bonded with her and fell even more in love. Right away, the technician said she knew what it was, but wanted to get a perfect shot so she could explain how she knew. I thought the two legs with no weewee sticking out in the middle was a good indication, but apparently not. She had a pretty long explanation of how she definitely knew she was a girl, but when I get around to posting some pictures, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to tell you what we're looking at. After finding out that Stephanie's been right this whole time about us having a girl, we watched the little one on a big screen in the room for a bit as she rolled around, waved at us, and yawned - I must say, ADORABLE!
I suppose I would be closer to being done with my homework if I could write even this much down about human resources, but I guess I will just keep on procrastinating. After tomorrow night, only 2 classes left and I may just be able to have my life back again! Soooooo excited to be done! Wooowhoo!!
So excited for you to have a GIRL!! They are the best and so much fun to dress!! I cant wait to see the ultrasound pictures! Post them SOON!
