Sorry I haven't posted any updates lately. Last weekend was a crazy weekend - we had to put Diesel (the best dog in the world) down. At four years old, he was still just a puppy to us, but we didn't have much of a choice. He had a tumor on his head since about Christmas and then last week it must of caused some blood vessels to break and fluid filled his head. The vet tried to relieve the pressure in hopes that it would clot on its own, but by the next morning, it was twice as bad and we put him down in the afternoon. We buried him with all of his essentials: Orange Sherbert (my teddybear from when I was little), his stuffed puppy, his very first bone, and Aaron's baby blanket - because as Aaron puts it: innocence died that day).
Here's a little update on the growth of our little fetus....
Adapted from http://www.babycenter.com/:
The baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, is now almost fully formed. Its hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under the baby’s gums, and some of its bones are beginning to harden.
The baby is already busy kicking and stretching, and its tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as its body grows and becomes more developed and functional.
Brew's been a little depressed this week...I think he has sensed what went down. He sends his love.
